Tyler Hamilton and Ivan Dominquez, "the Cuban Missile" Target Harlem
Controversial Olympic Champion and Toyota United Star Sprinter Last-Minute Entrants

New York, NY, June 13, 2008 -- Harlem is getting hot. Ivan Dominquez will bring his world famous sprinting legs to the starting line this Sunday for the 35th Annual Skyscraper Cycling Classic. Dominquez, winner of the New York City Cycling Championship in 2002, and stage winner in the Tours of Georgia, Missouri and California, tops off a star-studded field of professional sprinters. Known as the "Cuban Missile" for his speed and ability to target big races, Dominquez will be backed up by Toyota United teammate "Chepe" Garcia, a two-time Mexican National Champion.

Sponsoring Rock Racing is beefing up their squad with the addition of Tyler Hamilton, the 2004 Olympic Time Trial Champion. Hamilton, who has finished fourth in the Tour de France and second in the Tour of Italy, served a two-year doping suspension that ended in 2006. Rock Racing CEO and Head Designer Michael Ball rescued Hamilton's collapsing career and signed him for 2008. Mr. Ball, who has been outspoken about giving athletes "second chances," is fielding what is clearly the most powerful team in the event. Rock's combination of sprinters Freddy Rodriquez and Rahsaan Bahti, backed up by a locomotive of Hamilton's quality, will make for fascinating racing this Sunday.

Live coverage of Harlem Rocks will be available for free on WCSN TV and to a worldwide audience via WCSN´s broadband network www.wcsn.com. Spectators will enjoy the live coverage on a jumbotron positioned just beyond the start/finish line on West Mt. Morris Avenue and 121st Street.

Top class amateur and professional races, giant screen live TV, great food, and music all await the public in Harlem this Father’s Day.

The 35th Annual Skyscraper Classic is presented by: Rock Racing and Saab

The event is promoted by Manhattan-based Sparta Cycling, Inc., in association with Skyscraper Productions.
