Friday, September 11 -- Univest Grand Prix Team Time Trial
The first stage of the UCI-certified Univest Grand Prix debuts with a team time trial over two laps of a challenging and technical 3.7 mile course that takes racers through Allentown's Center City commercial district, its scenic residential neighborhoods and nationally renowned park system before sending them up a short and steep uphill chicane and a final, 500-meter sprint to the line. The event will include a City Culture Fair to highlight Allentown's rich history and nationally recognized museums and entertainment venues. WFMZ Channel 69 and Universal Sports will provide live regional and national coverage of the event and Comcast SportsNet will offer post-event coverage. A Jumbotron TV screen at the Start-Finish line will allow spectators to follow the racers throughout the course.

Saturday, September 12 -- Univest Grand Prix
The Univest Grand Prix is an international professional road cycling competition for men.  It is one of 13 UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) races on the United States calendar. The race is open to professional and elite amateur teams. The community embraces the race and shows their support by housing visiting athletes, welcoming cyclists at area schools to speak about their sport, and holding four festivals in various towns along the intense road race through 16 municipalities. Channel 69-News WFMZ-TV and www.wfmz.com will provide live coverage of the entire race from the start at 10:50 a.m. through the finish at 3:00 p.m. Universal Sports, an NBC affiliate, will carry both races to television screens across the United States, and Internet users world-wide.

Sunday, September 13 -- Univest Grand Prix Doylestown Criterium
The international circuit race for men is held in the heart of Doylestown, Bucks County, Pa..  Now in its sixth year, the criterium event brings added excitement to the suburban Philadelphia borough and its annual Arts Festival.
